I'm sorry, how do I use this key file?

Does copying this file into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV help?
See above?
Thanks!

Re: .ISO for Concert Blu Ray

Yes, I also own AnyDVD, so one step instead of two. Just wanted to make sure end result is the same? If it’s beneficial to use MakeMKV first then ImageBurn for some reason other than time because it’s two steps?

.ISO for Concert Blu Ray

Generally, for movies, I rip Blu Ray and UHD to MKV for my Zidoo player, don’t need menus for movies. But, for my Concert BD i like the full menu structure to easily pick chapter/songs by name. My 8K Zidoo player likes .ISO for full menus. I’m trying to understand the best way to get the .ISO? 1) Ba...

You need to power it off and back on. When you power it on, wait about 2 seconds and hold the eject button. The tray should open halfway and close again.
Thanks Greg, for some reason it's not working for me, maybe my case, or something else...

Re: LG Optical Drive Firmware "Reset" method

I bought a LG WH16NS40 a while back and thanks to these firmware flashing guide here was able to have it read UHD discs (now it shows as a WH16NS60). I had some issues with the drive yesterday and it kept causing the USB bus to reset it and no matter what computer I hooked it to (it is in a Vantec ...

Re: MakeMKV, just BUY it already.....

I purchased a key a few weeks ago, paid with PayPal. My PayPal email receipt came with the Key, so, it was practically instant. I have a PC and a Mac. The key worked on both. This pretty much tells me it will work on a new or changed computer when the time comes. If you backup your discs, the program...

Pioneer BDR-S13UBK vs LG WH16NS40

I purchased a Pioneer BDR-213/2213 SATA 5.25 SATA with BDR-S13UBK Firmware from Billycar11 in March of this year. I also purchased an LG Electronics WH16NS40 drive from Amazon and flashed it myself. I had an ASUS drive prior for a few years that finally crapped out. Anyway, I've been using both the ...

Flashing LG WH16NS40 - DE or MK

Hello, I will be flashing a recent vintage LG WH16NS40, with probably 1.05 (I will be checking in the morning). I'm trying to understand if I should use DE or MK firmware? This drive is for MakeMKV with UHD discs. I appreciate your help! I see this: LG flasher + DE firmware viewtopic.php?f=16&t=...

Re: The Martian - 4k rip fails

Tom: What do you use to view the mkv file? I'm on a Mac so it won't directly help me but I'm curious at this point. Thanks. The MKV file is stored on my unRaid server. For a player I use a Zidoo Z9S (this player seems to play anything I throw at it) Fed through a Denon X4400H Then to a JVC RS1000 4...

Re: The Martian - 4k rip fails

What are you using to convert the .mkv file once you get it? I was able to rip my 4K Martian with no problem, but didn't get any forced burn subtitles. I am using Mac X Video Pro Converter to move from the mkv to an mp4 file. Some 4K movies convert OK, some don't. I don't think makeMKV is the issue...

My replacement disc came today and it ripped fine. So, the first one was bad, although looking at it, it looked perfect.

The Martian - 4k rip fails

I just bought The Martian 4K. I get about 3/4 way through ripping it and it fails. I'm getting a replacement today to try, although it's coming from the same place, Amazon. I'm using an Asus BW-16D1HT with MK 3.10 firmware. MakeMKV v1.14.7 {win(x64-release)}. All this is less than a month old, rippe...
