jinx100 - So, I attempted to flash the HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WP50NB40-NB50-1.01-NM00200-211711231646.bin firmware using the modified LG flasher, but it gets stuck at 0% (it's been stuck on this for the better part of 10 minutes or so):

jinx100 - I'll send a screenshot shortly. In the meantime, I was looking through the forum and people said it could be the USB hub the drive is connected to when attempting to flash it; I've moved this external drive to numerous different USB ports on my machine to no avail.

So I followed the instructions of the last post on this thread , which points to the download found on this thread , but I'm getting the following error as soon as the tray is ejected: Updating Failure #3 .
