Re: The Office (US) (Bluray) Season 3 Disc 3 issue
Curious to know if you were able to resolve this as I am getting ready to rip this show on Blu-ray as well. Also to you happen to know what AACS version these disks are (i.e. below 76 for us poor souls without Libredrive)?

Re: No Time to Die US -- Multiple attempts to submit, no dice
Just curious if anyone knows what AACS version is on blu-ray disk for this movie. Is it below AACSv76 for us poor souls without LibreDrive?

Re: Game of Thrones Season 8 (BluRay)
I've used MakeMKV for years and it's always worked perfectly, until now. I'm trying to rip the new Game of Thrones Season 8 Blu-ray -- not the UHD or 4K versions, but the regular 1080p version. When I try to rip, MakeMKV v1.14.7 says "No disc inserted"... Can I fix this by getting a diffe...

Re: Samsung SE 506 info
Well. So after much discussion I discovered that the GoT S8 Blu-Ray discs (again NOT the 4K UHD but the 1080p discs) actually only have AACS v68 (at least in my country). I was able to rip them on my non-libredrive Drive just fine with MakeMKV 1.14.7. But thanks for the help/education in learning ab...

Re: Samsung SE 506 info
So I can use up to AACS v70 discs per the MakeMKV 1.14.4 release notes. What about this statement from MikeAdmin: "MKBv72 is currently supported on 1.14.5 with latest key updates." or is that referring to something different? The latest version of MakeMKV can decode discs with MKBv72 (AAC...

Re: Samsung SE 506 info
It also sounda like I can put AACS v72 discs into my drive without fear of MakeMKV being revoked as long as I am using MakeMKV 1.14.5 or 1.14.7. All I want is confirmation on this. Negative Confirmation! If you put an AACS v72 disc in your drive it will update the revocation table. If you do not ha...

Re: Samsung SE 506 info
then I thought drives without libredrive would be fine since the key in MakeMKV has been updated to match the latest on the discs. Three things must work for ripping 1. The program (f.e. MakeMKV) is not revoked by the revocation table (this is a drive block) in case a drive without libredrive is us...

Re: Samsung SE 506 info
Sorry for the Noob question, but is MKB mean AACS? Yes I mean, are you saying version 1.14.5, and up have host certificate to handle AACS v72 for drives without libredrve? Yes, but the inhibitor to access any disc is the revocation table which blocks programs like MakeMKV from accessing the drive, ...

Re: Samsung SE 506 info
B is correct. Mike added host certificate for v70 so without libredrive you can rip all discs up to and including v70. MKBv72 is currently supported on 1.14.5 with latest key updates. Sorry for the Noob question, but is MKB mean AACS? I mean, are you saying version 1.14.5, and up have host certific...

Re: Do I Need LibreDrive
I need to wait until MakeMKV has the key for AACS v72, right? No, But MakMKV needs a new Key to access the drive, because the old one is revoked by using a disc with an updaded revocation table. MakeMKV can already handle AACS 72 with Libredrive access. My GoT S8 discs works very well with MakeMKV....

Re: Do I Need LibreDrive
The drive tolds the highest AACS version processed for far! There is no firmware to "upgrade" the drive to support AACS Version xyz. The GoT Blu-rays comes with AACS 72 and a key revocation list thats blocks now the MakeMKV key to access the drive. With Libredrive enabled drives, the soft...

Do I Need LibreDrive
So brand new noob here and very sorry if I am about to ask something that has been answered here. I am running MacOS Catalina, MakeMKV 1.14.7, and have a Pioneer Blu-Ray drive. In fact here are the details on that drive from MakeMKV: Drive Information Manufacturer: PIONEER Product: BD-RW BDR-XS06 Re...
