Afraid only mike will be able to take a look at that. As they are DVDs, there should be a MakeMKV_navlog.txt file where the log file is saved (not sure if you need to have expert mode activated in the options).
Eventually with that mike could see, where it is going wrong.

Re: What is www.makemkv.net?
Considering none of the links at their download section works, I still wouldn't go there.
MakeMKV also never offered any Chrome Extension. Seemingly the link behind that is just... not there, when looking at the source code.

You can try to set the Opening mode to a different one and see, if that helps: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=28541

Re: Is Makemkv no longer updating AACS protection?
But as dcoke22 mentioned (and was more precise) the newer AACS V78 does not seem to be cleared by MakeMKV YET My MakeMKV states: Drive Information OS device name: D: Manufacturer: ASUS Product: BW-16D1HT Revision: 3.10 Firmware date: 2119-01-04 10:14 Bus encryption flags: 1F Highest AACS version: 7...

Re: Rocky - which title to select?
Both playlists have the same segment map, and there is only one segment inside: 62. So they both have the same video. I assume, what I have seen from many BluRays, that there is a separate playlists, which has the same video and audio, but the subtitles include Japanese, which wasn't to be found on ...

Re: mkv to mp4
That is the fault of Power Director then. MKV and MP4 are both containers, so you can have the very same video and audio inside them.
If some program can't open both containers, I would see it as a bad one.
Maybe the audio is in a format, that Power Director can't use? DTS-HDMA or something.

Re: Once you rip your disc, do you ever return to it?
I'm buying 16TB WD Reds (the biggest drive my NAS will take) every other month at $750 each! Nice, that you're rich. I am not. The six 18TB hard disks in my NAS are now 14 months old, I never replaced one so far. And each disk "only" cost me 300€. I hope they will live each for some more ...

I am not sure, how normal it is for a website to have different IP addresses Name: makemkv.com Address: 185.10.186.99 Name: www.makemkv.com Addresses: 2606:4700:3035::ac43:c3f4 172.67.195.244 Seemingly the www one is behind cloudflare whereas without is on a russian host (according to ssllabs SSL Se...

Re: Once you rip your disc, do you ever return to it?
Can only tell how I am doing it on my side. Whenever I get a new DVD or BluRay (I'm still buying physical), first I make an (usual decrypted) backup of the whole disc into an ISO. This ISO then lands on my NAS. Afterwards I rip the movie (plus any extra features) from the ISO and put it into my vide...

Re: Back up X Project DRM DVD
I do have a few Disney DVDs, which have a silly structure. There are IFOs and VOBs pointing to previous files in the file system, making the disc like 44 GB in size in Windows Explorer. Additionally, these IFOs do have all like 99 programs and 254 cells listed in them, and because of the duplicates,...

Re: How can I save a DVD Menu Image/Video?
When you are able to open the disc with DVDShrink, you can go to Re-author and then drag and drop the menus (on the top of the right side) to the DVD structure on the left. This will convert all menus into videos. Pure videos though, it won't be a menu anymore. https://i.imgur.com/nxxlNKo.png (https...

Think about it like an Early Access Game. Still beta, but working already very fine.
