I just picked up the "Non-Flashable" Vantec CB-ST00U3 Adapter.

Billycar11 made an interesting point that the LG WH14NS40 1.04 can be directly flashed to the LG WH16NS60 1.02 firmware. The LG 1.00 firmware still requires the extra step/flash to the Asus 3.10. no need for extra steps 1.04 to wh16ns60 1.02 MK i have flashed 100's of these the less flashing the bet...
