FYI, I'm having the same problem as wallacere1 with the BP50NB40 (external, USB0-connected)
Currently fw 1.01 (upgraded ages ago from 1.00)
Attempting firmware patch to 1.02 (from MK 20191013.zip)
Stuck at 0%.
