Has anyone tried the new Criterion UHD for The Last Waltz? It's saying the volume key is unknown. I just submitted the files to makemkv, but wanted to make sure it wasn't something on my end.

They do have a habit of dying do a full shutdown and see if it comes back after that You can also test if DVDs work and if just the bluray laser died DVD had the same error. Would it die so suddenly? The disc before it stopped went perfectly. Is it worth bringing it somewhere or just replacing?

Re-flashing the drive did not fix the problem. I do not understand what could be causing this. You will have to take the drive out and tell us the info on the label maybe your drive was to old to flash Unless you remember the drive info from before the flash then tell use that It's a ASUS BW-16D1HT...

Both DVDfab and iskysoft were able to rip the backups to mkv. I'm not sure why makemkv had trouble with this one.

I don't think it's hidden in the subtitle tracks because I can use english subtitles while watching the storyboards in PiP
