MakeMKV can do a "full disc backup", but to a directory on a hard drive ( not to ISO file). There is no single practical reason to keep blu-ray backup as ISO image. Just curious, what about if someone decides to burn the BD rip back to physical media at sometime in the future and of cours...

Thanks for the update -- is Mike still working on this from his/MakeMKV's side of things

I've had issues running MMKV when the Fox app was running at the same time -- richt click the Fox icon in the system tray and uncheck the 'Autorun' when using MMKV - this works for me

And btw - there's a new MMKV v1.6.10 available now

I purchased a license for mMKV last August/2010 - I also thought the software was better than beta quality at that time and figured my $50 might help Mike keep this great App. improved and updated for a long time to come - hopefully many others will do the same, even before the 1st non-beta version ...

I doubt this is of any help with this issue but...I also had trouble ripping the BD of Predators with both versions 158 and 160 -- but after ripping Predators to an unprotected ISO and then mounting it with a virtual drive, I had no trouble ripping it to an MKV with MakeMKV - but of course the encry...

And my OS is W7 Ult. 64 bit

The DVDs were 5th Element, Medicine Man, Cast Away and Dances with Wolves --- the disks are not damaged because they ripped fine with v158 from the same Opt./DVD drive

I installed v160 yesterday and it would not rip 4 DVD's in a row - I reinstalled v160 to no avail - v160 seems to be ripping fine at first but soon afterwards the countdown time remaining to the end of the rip starts advancing instead of declining I finally uninstalled it and installed the previous ...

Yah - about/MakeMKV says it's good until Sept 12th - but when I try to use it - it tells me the evaluation period has expired and I need to purchase a key and refuses to function

I intend on purchasing MakeMKV when it's out of beta
