Re: Problem with external LG WP50NB40
Thanks a bunch. Same thing happened to me, I didn't realize the SVC BP40 thing. So question, what are the options for this drive? It's late 2016, but because of the SVC BP40, does that mean it's too old? When I bought the drive, I made sure to ask the seller for the manufacture date, but didn't ask ...

Re: Uncut Gems
Neat, I knew half of that, but not the history.
And no worries on the necro, as we still don't know which one is correct.
It'll be great to finally add this one to my digital collection when we figure it out.

Re: Community Blu Ray - AV Sync Error not saving titles
I did so, to no avail. I'd say the disc was brand new, but I see the latter part of number 1, so maybe that's the issue? I'll wipe it down again and give it a try.

Community Blu Ray - AV Sync Error not saving titles
I'm just on the first disc, it failed to save 2 episodes. There were hundreds of messages, so the gaps here are from me deleting dozens of seemingly duplicate errors. All the other episodes ripped fine, and even a couple movies I ripped before this. I also took the disc out and cleaned it, though on...

Re: Uncut Gems
Ripping 448 now to watch later. Interestingly, my disc doesn't even have an 893... D: That was the one I was planning on testing next, since I'm positive it's not 798. I'm using the regular, retail disc. EDIT: I'm on the newest version of MakeMKV, paid. Drive is a custom flashed LG WH14NS40. All of ...

Re: Trolls World Tour 4K
Well I'm in this boat, now. This is from the Best Buy Steelbook. Disc looks perfect, but simply won't load. Windows displays it properly in the file explorer, but MakeMKV won't acknowledge it to load the streams.

Re: Uncut Gems
798 definitely is not the correct one for the retail disc. 30 minutes in, it swaps two parts of a scene. It's almost unnoticeable, because it kind of "works" in a weird way.

Re: Conspiracy (2001) "Failed to open disc"
Also, to avoid creating another thread, I'm getting a series of errors ~25 minutes into ripping another movie (Runaway Jury, blu-ray): OS error - STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR occurred while reading '\Device\CdRom0' at offset '10514135040', a couple of these - Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE...

Re: Conspiracy (2001) "Failed to open disc"
I think my drive is just dying, so it's having fun with all sorts of errors... I unplugged the drive and tried again and got the error that's like "error, logical unit is already in use" or something. Then I unplugged and tried AGAIN and it loaded after a couple minutes and a few dozen &qu...

Conspiracy (2001) "Failed to open disc"
That's it, the only error. It starts reading, discovers 2 titles that have less than the threshhold length, then throws the error and stops.
