Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
after more comparisons with my TV internal app and the x700, I now believe the Shield actually output over-saturated color in DV. I suspect it's because they send a bt2020 rgb 8bit signal while the x700 and the appleTV send RGB 8 bit ( no color primaries signaled). Netflix Stranger Things DV compar...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Here are several clips of 23 seconds each relating to the Joker movie (with the iconic scene that has been discussed HERE on the Plex forum). You can also find the original HEVC raw streams *** and those obtained with my program (the BL_EL_RPU version HERE , and the second BL_RPU iteration HERE ). ...

Successfully made a SL DV mux of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, it plays well on the Shield.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Interesting and definitely good progress, even if the Shield ends up not being the super box we'd all hoped for. I can't wait to see where this goes next, I'm currently doing a full movie SL mux to see how it looks on my setup.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
A quick question, if this works will it be identical (in theory) to the original dual layer source? As it has BL+El, or do we lose something like 12bit?

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Seems to work with mp4muxer, plays nicely on the shield, audio says truehd when I look in the plex settings but no audio, I'm guessing the only current option for Atmos is still the yusesope player. Still great work making a proper single layer DV file :) It's too early for that We need a comparati...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
the file looks exactly like DVDFAB single layer remuxed in tsmuxer ( dv 5.6 become dv 8.6). EL is gone. so unless yusesope did something different, I dont see how this will be any different (colors) than dvdfab SL. I guess we need someone to do some comparisons with a couple of the "trouble&qu...

Yes I think we need some tests, it could be tsmuxer or the tool
Edit: Or could it be mediainfo not reporting correctly?

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I have no idea, are you using the tsmuxer build from RESET_9999's post? I think I read something in the tsmuxer forum about it reporting 08.06 for some reason, I think it should be saying 07.06 Yes, please confirm I did it correct. I dropped the tsMuxeR.exe in the TsMuxer folder, removing the "...
