Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1
Hi, would anyone please advise me. I have a Zidoo z9x. I installed Kodi and copied playercorefactory.xml and installed exoplayer. Someone would advise me how to share movies on KODI via DNLA and try Dolby Vision. You don't need DLNA. Just plug your external drive to Z9x, setup it in Kodi (Videos/Fi...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Disney+ is not available in my country so I download this remux to watch The Mandalorian: https://rarbgway.org/torrent/rw213am. This looks like dolby vision single layer mp4? I have had hard time trying to get this to play on my oled c9. I put the film files in an external hdd and connected it to t...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
As I know, Eac3To applies audio delay automatically, during demux. It can correct it in 32 ms fragments. Just select the tracks using USEac3TO and hit the "RUN CL" button... Yep, however, the delay that eac3to applied during demux was not being applied during the mux to TS without also se...

Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.1
Putting the information together that I've read ONE of the options for viewing DV from a ripped disk with Dolby Atmos is to: Use MakeMKV (v1.15.1 or above) and make a MKV version of the disk. Select the mkv file for the movie, this will be the largest file. If there are multiple files of the same s...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Definitely a unique issue to have to solve for, but I ended up making it work by doing the following in case anyone else runs into this: 1. Extracted BL & EL HEVC files from the .M2TS or .MPLS file 2. Created BL+EL+RPU HEVC file using Yusescope's tool 3. Added ONLY the BL+EL+RPU HEVC file to ts...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
In case of Spartacus, I found a solution: I splitted it to two parts (in addition I cutted out some blank frames from the middle). Maybe, it will work for you too...RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 4:34 pmYep, I noticed the same with Lawrence of Arabia so I couldnt skip the first 8min of black screen lol.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Thank you! The same thing, choose the BL and EL, keep desired sound files with subs, and go either with TS or M2TS? I just hope it will be in profile 7 automatically. BTW, which is better, TS or M2TS for X700? yep, just remux straight to TS or M2TS, both work fine and yes it will be dual-layer prof...

Re: Spartacus 60th Anniversary 4K UK
There is another problem with it:
I tried to rip it with the latest makemkv version and the resulting mkv was only HDR and not Dolby Vision (no error messages).

Re: Apocalypse Now Final Cut
Hi! I made an mkv from main movie of "Apocalypse Now The Final Cut" (relevant disc of 6 disc set) using the newest version of makemkv (1.15.2). The playlist of main movie points to two m2ts files, but the resulting mkv contains only th first one. What is the solution? TY in advance! Edit I...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
mmm I just tried the latest version and I still get both HDR10 & DV in profile 5 which i think, can't be right. My LG OLLED tv recognized it as Dolby Vision. How come your MediaInfo is different? is it up to date? mine is the latest version. Is it because I use the trial version of DVDFAB ? Min...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Good news: Latest DVDFab 11 can convert a MEL UHD BR to a working single layer DV mp4 file with HR audio (eg. DTS HD-MA). General Complete name : G:\WORK\Video\Spectre.2015\SPECTRE.Title800.mp4 Format : MPEG-4 Commercial name : HDR10 Format profile : Base Media / Version 2 Codec ID : mp42 (mp42/isom...
