Hi there, makemkv 1.14.7 doesn´t find the key for IT Chapter 2 (GER Version). Dump file has been sent. Thank you for the support... Btw. is there a way to save an encoded version of this UHD disc, to generate an 1to1 copy later (when the key is in the database)? Or to generate an .mkv from an encode...

ICY BOX IB-550StU3S 5.25 case works fine for flashing and ripping.

I would go with a LG WH14NS40 crossflashed to ASUS BW-16D1HT 3.10, then crossflash with LG WH16NS60 1.00

I recently switched for testing, from an BH16NS55 (tested with several UHD friendly firmwares) to an WH14NS40. The main reason were some problems, ripping UHD disc with the BH16NS55. About 80% of all UHD disc went fine using the BH16NS55, but on some disc, I ran into hashcheck errors or strange SCSI...

Success ripping several UHD´s.
Found one disc (Venom), where I ran into the same hash check errors.
I found two tiny scratches on this disc and just used some toothpaste to polish
those scratches. Believe it or not, after this cure , I also ripped successful this
UHD without any errors

Success ripping Brightburn and Pikachu UHD complete backup
No errors or anything...

So I´m sure there was an problem with the Valerian UHD disc and my setup
should be stable.

No...I played the Valerian UHD backup (AVCHD folder) direct, local from a USD drive. I didn´t test the .mkv I made from Valerian yet, but searching for those artifact scene on the my PC, I didn´t find them again!? I have to test the .mkv via the Oppo first to be sure.
