I believe you just need to a minor adjustment to the command — "flash" is the command part which the console output describes as unknown. Calling it with "help all" will give the available commands and one small change was enough for my case. You are right, I got confused by mi...

I have the same problem, and it looks like it doesn't depend on the firmware version. 12D2HT, manufactured in January 2019, original firmware version 3.01. Using the patched ASUS flasher I was able to install the 12D2HT-3.01MK, but that's it: crossflashing to any other firmware (tried 16D1HT-3.10MK ...
