Note, if I wasn't clear enough, for step #1, you need to use the actual disc in order to generate a valid discatt.dat.
Yes, I created the discatt.dat of the real UHD disc.
Also, I believe there are a lot of different disc versions of John Wick so you're gonna need to create an ISO for the ...

Create a partial encrypted folder backup in MakeMKV (you can stop it after it starts copying files).
Extract the ddrescue image to a folder on your HDD.
Copy discatt.dat from the encrypted folder backup to the extracted ddrescue folder.
Open ddrescue BDMV folder with MakeMKV.

I want to rip a UHD disc (John Wick) but my disc is unfortunately scratched. A rip with MakeMKV is not possible because of the read errors. I was able to copy the disc with ddrescue. (It took some hours to copy it)
