Re: Star Wars Subtitles - english
By the way, I ripped every "angle" and discovered that each one is a different language. Even the beginning scroll is in each language! Angle 1 seems to be the original English version though.

Re: Problems with The Princess Bride Blu-Ray rip SOLVED
Mike was absolutely right! The super-clean disc was failing despite looking spotless to my eye. On later inspection, just before I returned it for a new disc, I noticed that it had weird "waves" across the surface, like an old rolled-glass window pane. Anyway, the NEW disc just ripped with...

Re: Problems with The Princess Bride Blu-Ray rip
Ok. I have the same problem. One of the cleanest discs I've ever seen. It failed on ripping the main feature, so I tried a backup, here's the log:

Fritz Lang's "M"
The main title rips just fine, but Title 03 is very weird! MakeMKV reports that Title03 is over 100GB, and proceeds to take an entire day ripping away at it. I guess I'll just skip it, but I wonder what I'm missing....

Re: How do I play LPCM Audio?
I'm running into this problem with Fritz Lang's "M" (along with another major problem I'll have to report elsewhere). The original German track is LPCM, and won't play back with VLC. I hear that there is a codec from Calibrated that will allow QuickTime and VLC to play these files with LPC...

It looks like the new release rips Star Wars Saga blu-ray!
Great work Mike!

Re: New BD+ - X-men 1st class, StarWars saga set
Dammit! I just got the Star Wars BD set and I can't watch it! The blu-ray in the PS3 died, and MakeMKV can't seem to rip these for play via NAS yet. ![Sad :-(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
Anyone want to stream them to me?![Very Happy :-D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
Can I submit logs or something to be helpful in getting MakeMKV StarWars-ready?

Add dates to revision history page?
It would help in sorting out beta-test reports based on dates if the releases (shown on http://www.makemkv.com/download/history.html ) had release dates, plus it is just nice to see a time-stamped history. Thanks for putting this all together Mike! ![Smile :-)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Vicky Christina Barcelona - NO AUDIO
Or, at least MakeMKV could be clear about what problems are presenting themselves. e.g.: MakeMKV still doesn't say "Hey! I'm failing because your hard drive is full. Delete some crap idiot!" It's message is something cryptic that I still forget until I get to the forum and grep for the tex...

Re: I'd go ahead and buy MakeMKV if...
PS3mediaServer integration, please! Which files don't play with it? What do you use to stream it from within ps3ms? Seems like it's either a bug in those programs, or in makemkv :) -roger- Almost ALL of my DVD rips play just fine. Most of my blu-ray rips fail, but things have improved since the lat...

Re: MakeMKV OSX - Non-Compliant Output File
Okay. I didn't get any request to help here, so I'm taking the Doctor Who: Planet of the Dead disc back today. It was a pretty massive failure of MakeMKV though, and I had hoped that I could help in resolving it. Being able to rip ALL blu-rays into a format that PS3/AppleTV/etc. can play would make ...

Re: MakeMKV OSX - Non-Compliant Output File
EDIT: Ok. I'll see if I can get the latest "snapshot" VLC, I assume y'all mean http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/macosx-intel/?C=M;O=D EGADS! The nightly build just totally fubars the audio. Still no video. And on VCBarcelona NOTHING plays, just a big white rectangle. So is VC-1 blu-ray'...

default is *not to rip* HD audio?
Why is that? Wouldn't it be better to default to rip *all* the data, and then have the option to choose which one to play back later? What am I missing here? As it is I have to open each title and sub-title to see if there are any HD audio tracks that need to be ripped, and manually tick those boxes...

makemkvcon keeps running after Quit
I have noticed this happening for years. Every time I download a new version, I trash the old one, but when I try to empty the trash OSX complains that makemkvcon (and maybe a lib file or two too?) are still in use. I have to force quit the processes, then I can empty the trash and start using the n...
