It is working great so far it is a bit noisier than the one in my external enclosure, but it is also smaller and doesn't need external power so I'm keeping this one on my desk.

I just ordered one from Newegg this seems better than the one I have in an external enclosure at the moment.

For anyone else looking for something different than the Vantec I just got my first UHD friendly drive and put it in a Mercury Pro from OWC.
