Re: UPDATE: New BD+ as found in avatar
@setarip_old. Where do I put the allcombo.svq file in Ubuntu? I have already created a .MakeMKV directory with the settings.conf file (which has my key in it). I just don't know where to put allcombo.svq and how to point MakeMKV to that location in Ubuntu minimal. Thanks.

Re: UPDATE: New BD+ as found in avatar
@adave Hi! The following is a quote of the directions that are found in "BD+ Support" At the top of this sub-forum: In order to use SVQ file just download it into "SVQ directory" set in MakeMKV preferences (on BD+ tab). MakeMKV will automatically pick-up the SVQ file and all dis...

Re: UPDATE: New BD+ as found in avatar
I upgraded to the latest version (1.5.5). Do I still need to do anything with the avatar.svq file? If so, can someone please tell me how to use the .svq file with a minimal install of Ubuntu? I've already downloaded the file but don't know where to place it or how to get MakeMKV to read it. Thanks.

Check which version of MakeMKV is installed
I'm running MakeMKV on a minimal Ubuntu Linux install and don't have a GUI. Is there a way I can check to see what version (i.e. 1.5.4) of MakeMKV my system is running from the terminal? Thanks.

Re: update script
Thanks for the script. I'm still a linux newbie and trying to get this to work. I've created the file (called it makemkvupdate) and changed the makemkv paths accordingly. Used the chmod +x function on the file to make it executable. However, when I go to launch the file from terminal (sudo makemkvup...

Re: Can't find .MakeMKV directory
@skittles. Ah ok. Thanks for that. I'm running Ubuntu minimal so no GUI. I'll create the the .MakeMKV directory manually and put the key into settings.conf.

Can't find .MakeMKV directory
I tried searching my Ubuntu minimal install for the .MakeMKV installation and can't seem to find it. MakeMKV works and I located makemkv and makemkvcon files in the /usr/bin directory, but no .MakeMKV folder. Can anyone tell me where to find it? Thanks. Btw, I made sure to search hidden folders/file...

Install Help
Hi guys. Linux n00b here. I'm trying to follow along with mike's instructions on how to install the packages for makemkv on linux (http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=224). I have installed the prerequisites and unpacked the tar.gz files. I am now stuck. I am not familiar on how to...

Failed to Initialize Error v1.5
I just upgraded to the 1.5 beta on Windows 7 from 1.4.12. I am getting an error window as soon as I try and launch MakeMKV that says "Failed to Initialize" and nothing opens. Is anyone else having this problem?

Re: XBMC Script for Windows?
Sorry. I should have included that I'd like to do this with MakeMKV as the plug-in application. Regardless, it looks like its possible. If anyone is interested in being able to play BR discs in XBMC using MakeMKV, check out this post on the XBMC forum. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?t=67420&am...

XBMC Script for Windows?
Hello all. Was wondering if there was a way to play BR discs natively inside XBMC similar to how Linux users can (http://bloggingabout.com/bluray-playback-xbmc-linux.html) with a script. I would like to be able to play BR discs within XBMC by just popping in the disc and having it play right inside ...
