Yep, played just fine in Windows Media Center on Win7 x64. I don't own a standalone player.

I started MakeMKV, clicked the disc to hard drive button, and it failed after a few second. Never opened up to pick titles, etc.

And yes, that is the price in CAD, which is nearly 1:1 with USD these days. This movie was "crowd funded" to retain full editorial control. Check out the Wikipedia ...
