Just want to let you know that MakeMKV is duplicating subtitle streams. This bug was noticed in different Blu-rays. For example, X-Men (2000) creates two portuguese subtitles for the movie. But the second one is empty.

Still, I have to instruct MKVToolnix to disregard that stream.

This bug also affected a 1 GB feature from a MK cartoon available in that Blu-ray disc. Again, the 3:2 display aspect ratio problem. I didn't noticed this before.

Another bug I saw with MakeMKV was when it tries to convert some subtitles from brazilian DVDs, and they became transparent (invisible ...

The same thing happened again with another title: Hard to Kill (1990), a third Blu-ray.

And again, with a theatrical trailer (in SD).

MakeMKV seems to have a problem with this kind of content when it's the only featurette available in the disc, besides the movie itself.

There's a tool in Doom9 that is capable of reading Blu-rays and converting the audio track from LPCM to FLAC (FLAC = lossless, and even smaller size).

I have tested LOST third season *, and the LPCM 5.1 track was not recognized by either Media Player ...

If I were to guess, I would say that without the empty tracks information, the player would have problem with the other contents of the disc?

I guess this is the case where we see the MakeMKV warning: "track turned out to be empty and was removed". Why we have empty tracks in some discs I don't really know.
