Re: MakeMKV not working with "Invictus" - Region A
Makemkv only work with decrypted iso and the real disk on the drive.
The only way to open that disk is wtih anydvd or passkey running.
or if you have the vid or vud of the disk
later

Re: Please post your success with FULL disc backup
Just pointing out the obvious, that if you just disable anydvd there is no need to exit the program. Disabling does the trick.
I really dough that was the cause of the error, but we will find out.

Re: Please post your success with FULL disc backup
Anydvd versions works because it modifies more files than makemkv does.
Makemkv just removes the encryption, anydvd removes RC coding, and firmware warning ( if you look at your status window)
It has nothing to that is it ripped to a folder.

Re: Percy Jackson
Then your setting are wrong.
Look at the setting and see what folder have you told makemkv to look for the
SVQ. From the log it looks like you have to set it.

Re: Feature Req - Disable decryption
Or just disable the warning that comes up. No, the warning is there for a reason. It's never usually a good thing to have 2 decrypters enabled at the same time. I disagree. if you had anydvd and passkey installed that i would be worried (they work ok together by the way) but makemkv, show that warn...

I really missed where the update was.

Re: MakeMKV only works with AnyDVD?
NONE of them play (except when I use AnyDVDHD You might try using "Passkey" (from the DVDFab folks) instead of AnyDVD. It operates on the same "behind the scenes" driver principle, so you should be able to use it in conjunction with MakeMKV... From what I've seen from Googling a...

Re: MakeMKV only works with AnyDVD?
very interesting.
it might be the drive in the end.
Anydvd opens them because it has a key database, it does not try to get the keys from the disk like makemkv does.
i would suggest you update the firmware.

you have any blue-rays that play?
do you have a blue-ray that says AACS v17 in makemkv ?

Re: MakeMKV only works with AnyDVD?
Do you any recently released blu-rays that you tried to play? I mean very recent
BTW.
Do you have the latest version of your players, software and hardware ?
maybe your drive has high certificate.
but where you bough it has nothing to do with regions for blue-ray atleast.
