After doing a bit of Googling, it appears that this is a common issue. Apparently there was batch of discs sent out that were damaged/defective. I've ordered another copy that should arrive on Friday. We'll see if that one has the same issue.

Anyone else having trouble ripping this disc? I've purchased two copies and neither one has worked. I tried cleaning them both thoroughly, but no luck. It gets about half way through then I get a bunch of errors. I'm using a Pioneer BR-S13U-X that I purchased from a member here.

Getting the "Automatic HK downloading is disabled or failed" error today when trying to rip the new 4K version of 2012. Haven't changed any network settings since the last download. Using Google DNS.

I'm getting this warning message when ripping the discs from a TV series I purchased. I didn't think this would apply to commercially produced discs.

I have the same drive/firmware. I have at least 3 4K UHD movies (out of about 110) that the drive will not recognize no matter how many times I clean them. They won't even show up in Windows Explorer. Though they all play fine in my Sony UHD blu-ray player. I also have Mission Impossible Fallout UHD...

I was able to successfully rip every movie in the Jurassic Park 4K 5 disk collection except the last one - Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Getting disc failed to decrypt message. Emailed dump file to svq@makemkv.com.
