iso to mkv with powershell
Maybe somebody else finds it useful, a powershell script that converts iso to mkv: wt.exe -- powershell.exe -NoExit -NoLogo -File "D:\iso to mkv.ps1" source-file output-folder $MakeMkvCon64 = 'C:\Program Files (x86)\MakeMKV\makemkvcon64.exe' $output = & $MakeMkvCon64 -r info "iso:...

Request: opening files via CLI with GUI front-end
Hello,
it would be helpful to open BD ISO image files via drag & drop and CLI with the GUI frontend.
GUI apps with CLI support are common.

Issue with File > Open Files
I've ripped a BD not as MKV but folder. Now I wanted to open this folder on HDD using File > Open File, after opening the index file nothing happens, even though I've not ripped in a long time I'm rather sure this has worked before. As workaround I rip it now a second time to MKV from optical disc. ...

problem with hebrew subtitles
Hello, while programming and testing StaxRip I noticed a problem with Hebrew subtitles on a German DVD, I reported it first to Mosu: I've a MakeMKV created file where MediaInfo shows iw as language code for a vobsub subtitle, when I demux it with mkvextract it's en in the idx and not iw or he, on th...

Re: incompatibility with ffms2/FFVideoSource
Maybe you can change the mkv so ffms2 works as good as with eac3to created mkv files, I'm rather clueless what's causing the problem, the ffms2 dev team might not be very motivated to fix it, understandable when they don't use MakeMKV, maybe you can give the dev team free licenses.

Re: IDX file containing null character making vsfilter fail
@mike admin
thanks for the support, I missed there is another issue making vsfilter fail, idx file misses:
langidx: 0
@setarip_old
Applications written with C/C++ are prone to fail with such a file because of the nature of strings in C/C++ which are terminated with /0
