The script defaults to using internal/external scene cuts or madvr to generate them, so you will have to remove HDR10plus(2-2) to force madvr.
You could also use 6-2 to create the scene cuts. Rename the generated RPU the same as the mkv and run 3-1

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
If you're referring to the HDR10+ scene cuts, we no longer use them when generating DV. They often don't make sense, and Resolve's scene cut detection does a better job. Has anyone noticed that the scene cuts (workflow 2-1 in Dovi Scripts) for Alien from 1979 are rather strange and unusual compared ...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
The release of the recent dim movies (F1, Jurassic World Rebirth, and Superman) got me thinking... Is there any brightness (or lack of) where it would be better to watch the SDR release instead? As my TV is not professionally calibrated, I think it's still better to go HDR in my situation, as I kno...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
May be a dumb question, but I've done a fair amount of research and still don't 100% understand. In the Dolby Vision Stuff google sheet I see chart "ENCODER GROUPS TO AVOID BECAUSE THEY DONT ENCODE DV FEL PROPERLY" I have a AM6B+ so I can playback DV Profile 7. I wanted to confirm that I ...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
With my pc i9 13900ks + RTX 3070 + pci-e gen4 7gbps drives for a 1h30 movie:
prores encoding: 20-25min
scene cut detection: 10min
DV analysis: 10min
injecting remuxing: 6-8min
If I decide to do trim pass(es), then it can take me hours to monitor each shot one by one and make target adjustments

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I don't see any obvious difference between hdr10 and DV on the Sony in terms of posterization. The Samsung is completely clean even with the 3 clips you mentioned? I talked to someone who had the new Samsung OLED TV but ended up returning it due to poor uniformity. He told me all the clips were com...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Yes I downloaded the original clips and watched them on my a95l via the ugoos. I did see mild banding/posterization mainly in those 3 clips. Hopefully lg can fix the g5 and their future oleds, but I doubt it. Well, my old C2 also has tons of banding/posterization in HDR10, so I guess LG indeed will...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
The Stranger Things, Liongates and Silo clips have slight banding/posterization in the source, but you should watch the original clips rather than the YouTube versions. https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1DxMiJvf_HHTqxw5AW4WdbrKkCkKrH3JG The C2 and G5 show a lot of banding and posterization ...
