I decided to buy a second hand ASUS BW-16D1HT. Got it down to 10$ so worth the risk. This is just a temporary drive and I will be buying a uhd drive from one of the sellers here on the forum when I get home from vacation. I have the option to buy a second hand ASUS BW-16D1HT with manufacture date February 2015. Will this drive work or is it to old? I'm pretty sure it is too old. As far as I am aware, the start date for "UHD friendly" was Oct 2015. I think I`ll pass then. Then I am left with the option to b...

I have read some of the last pages in this thread and it looks like ASUS BW-16D1HT and LG WH16NS60 is the way to go for ripping all of my bluray to my plex library. Asus is available in my local shop for 100$ while the LG I have to buy of Amazon for a total of 150$ including shipping. Is it worth sp...
