Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 2 and 3

I'm ripping these two seasons as I type and the same issue is still present.

I should be able to use MKVToolNix to split the files down but, if the individual episodes are on the discs, why isn't MakeMKV finding them?

Re: "Fake playlist" protection - help needed

Maybe in a future version makemvk will add a "John Wick" button that will wipe out all check marks in a single punch. Really just an uncheck all button. I just ripped John Wick BR and unchecked all 300+ copies except the first one and it seems to have worked fine. I was able to get the wh...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2025

Based on our experience, the Verbatim drive hasn't been the most reliable, with about a 5% failure rate. We wouldn’t recommend this model. For a dependable option, any of the retail Pioneer drives would be a great choice. The Pioneer BDR-XD07TB/S, in particular, will work perfectly for your needs. ...

Is it a problem if the disc says have never been played in a 4k player before trying to do them?
No. I rip 4K movies all the time. I don't even own a 4K disc player.
Same. I have never owned a UHD player.

Has anyone successfully done
Ashoka Season 1 UHD
Loki Season 2 UHD
Mandalorian Season 3 UHD
Hawkeye Season 1 UHD

Thank you
By 'done', I assume you mean ripped? In which case, yes, to Ashoka and The Mandalorian.

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2025

would you be open to adding files sizes for 4k uhd rips?
It isn't very useful since it will depend on whether you rip all the audio tracks or not.

Re: Read SACD

Aside from an old PS3, there is a way with a number of retail BD/UHD players (that also play SACD) using a script on a USB drive and controlling the device over a wired network. I have one of those players which I could try, assuming I can get the drive tray to open again. It gave up opening years a...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2025

Show your MakeMKV drive information. But I think you can flash directly to WH16NS60 1.02MK. Edit: Sorry I've read your model wrong. Of course is the BH16NS40 with NS51 flashable. You don't need a firmware backup. With the original LG firmware auto updater you can get your drive back to 1.05. thank ...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2025

Slightly nervous about having an app making and pulling files from a Russian server as obv there is a reputation associated with servers hosted in certain country’s which is why I went with pulling a public keydb file myself manually and vetting the file. Would prefer to do that each time. I follow...

Re: Addams Family Values UHD (AU) - Dump submitted

I thought dump file attachments to forum posts were no longer allowed, but see attached. I think the preference is to use links to file hosts. But Woodstock has been very gracious about allowing dump file attachments to briefly exist until the disc has been added to the keydb. Speaking of which, yo...
