Leave it alone. :) 1.05 has nothing you care about.
Thank you :D
Just this, I believe.
That's useful to know, thank you.

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Guide Updated 2020

For the BH16NS55, what is the difference between 1.04 (currently installed in my drive) and 1.05, available in the current MK pack?

Many thanks.

Re: Libredrive version v6

It's working for me on an LG BH16NS55 running firmware 1.04.

I ripped Ford v Ferrari BD and the speed peaked at around 7.5x.

Re: Saving MakeMKV Files to NAS

I rip to my PC hard drive but then process in Handbrake direct to a mapped drive on my NAS without any issues.

Re: Read SACD

On a somewhat similar note - how about a DVD-Audio ripping ability (not necessarily decryption) for MakeMKV? DVD-Audio discs are well covered: https://www.videohelp.com/software/DVD-Audio-Explorer . It's old software but it works. I used it years ago to obtain WAV files of the individual channels o...

Re: John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum

I just bought the Region B version from Amazon Aus and there did not appear to be any obfuscation at all. Using MakeMKV 1.14.7, only three tracks were listed and two of them were far too small to be the main feature. It seems as though everyone else in this thread has had some sort of obfuscation to...

Re: A List of Discs that Fail to Rip

Looks like that the disc could not be read. Many Medium Errors and so on .... Make MKV takes quite a long time to decide there is a disc and what is on it. It starts the rip and gets a bit of 50% of the way through before quitting. I have cleaned the disc but to no avail. Is there anything else I c...

Re: A Better Way To Find The Correct Playlist/Segment Map

The easiest method I have found to consistently find the correct Playlist for Blu-ray discs is to use AnyDVD HD . Instructions: Ensure AnyDVD HD is running and active. Insert Blu-ray disc into drive. Double-click the AnyDVD HD icon in the task tray. In the Status section for the drive, the MPLS num...

The Grand Budapest Hotel

MakeMKV is showing 4 titles for The Grand Budapest Hotel BD (Region B). The mpls is 00800 for all 4 although the segment map differs. They are listed as different angles. Is this playlist obfuscation and, if so, which one is correct? Here is the output in the log: Processing BD+ code, please be pati...

Are VAM and GIP some standard abbreviations, or is this only valid for "Equalizer 2"?
Good question. I would like to know too.

No speed increase for now maybe in future but the other advantage is when new aacs versions come out you don't need to wait for makemkv to be updated because it can get around the aacs being revoked with mk firmware
Good to know, thank you.

Re: LG BH16NS55 v1.04

FYI: Just ran some speed tests. Started UHD folder backup and let it run for 10 minutes. 1. BH16NS55 1.02 - Read Rate = 13.2 M/s [3.1x] 2. BH16NS55 1.04-MK - Read Rate = 13.7 M/s [3.2x] Speed difference is negligible. I don't use AnyDVD so unable to check if 1.04-MK is UHD friendly with it. (If ASU...

Re: "Fake playlist" protection - help needed

If you pick the wrong playlist one of several Things can happen. 1. At some point during the movie, a screen will show some text saying that this is not an original disk, but a copy. This usually lasts for 5-10 seconds, or more, and can be at any point in the movie. 2. The order of the m2ts files i...
