Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2022
So pretty confused about which firmware I should be at :) Have a LG 16NS40.. suggested MK firmware version is 1.02, but the MK download only has 1.05. The "all you need..." pack only has the 16NS60 1.02 firmware... Going to be frank (you can be larry if you wish)... Memory is hazy but thin...

Re: SDFtool Flasher
Received the following .net error at launch... Tried running elevated and non. .net 4.8, Win10 2004 Used the native MakeMKV cmdline successfully... Just wanted to report if this is a .net version check thing... ************** Exception Text ************** System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x8000...

Re: WH16NS40 Flasher
Because the latest firmware versions SUCK!!!! Really, the latest versions are NOT BETTER in any way. Know this is the older thread but was looking into libredrive, and enabling... Why do the newer versions suck? Specific behavior, error, or performance? Would like to be informed to avoid potential ...

Re: Blocks in FF and REW
I cannot play the source (blu-ray) on the same equipment (no blu ray drive). But VLC does have the same behavior playing the m2ts files off the disk on my PC. Encoding the mkv with clownBD/eac3to (using fps 24000/1001 aka 23.97...) it still persists but not nearly as bad. So it is more then likely t...

Blocks in FF and REW
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwRaUebWZps Example via youtube above. This issue has gotten better but virtually every blu-ray mkv created with MKV shows these macro blocks when fast forwarding over 4x or rewinding at 2x or more. In the youtube video I am using XBMC but I have able to reproduce in ...

Re: Feature Request: Preview Window in MakeMKV
I would love a built in player if possible.... For all the reasons mentioned.... Figuring which track to rip, which sub/forced sub is correct etc.

Re: Multiple Output Files
Search for command line. You can run batch via the command line version. I have seen mention of this, though it would be nice to have an option for ease of use.

Re: Audio Sync problems
I would guess maybe the difference is also causing FF/REW issue stated in my previous thread.
Essentially image gets really distorted at FF/REW speeds at 8x or higher. Tested on Zoom and MPC-HD
Tried and true rip and mkvmerge methods do not cause this issue (well reduces the issue by 90%)

Re: FFWD/REW blocky
Just wondering if ANYONE is seeing large square blocks/smears when fast forwarding/rewinding at x8+???????? I love makemkv's simplicity... though even with the latest version am having issues with smooth FFW/REW, or at least reduced macroblocks at higher speeds. If I use ClownBD (eac3to essentially)...

Re: List of BluRay with forced subtitles
Don't Mess with the Zohan - very limited forced subs, essentially when ever he uses his spy goggles.

Re: Forced Subtitles
I know just finding forced subs is a huge win. I would like to make another sub request... If at all possible have an option to strip subtitle streams to ONLY forces subs. As mentioned some titles use the forced flag instead of a separate stream. Some players (XBMC) do not support the forced flag...

Re: FFWD/REW blocky
Well I think I have confirmed the the method in which MakeMkv converts blu ray to mkv is causing the macro blocks at high speed seek/FFW/REW. At least when I use Zoomplayer and CCCP to play back the mkv (also XBMC linux distro) I used ClownBD to demux and mkvmerge to mux them into MKV setting the fp...

FFWD/REW blocky
ok not really a makemkv issue but my google attempts seem to not be hitting target. I rip BD disks with MakeMKV... I can play the movies just fine but... Noticed that when I FFWD/REW at x4 or greater the image becomes really pixelated and blocky and its hard to see the video (to know where to stop)....

Just curious, doesn't look like you have posted in a few weeks.
