So either MP4Box breaks the mp4 container when adding the lpcm audio or my LG tv simply doesn't activate Dolby Vision when it detects anything other than ac3 audio ? I did the exact same method (mux DV then add trueHD converted to PCM audio) with Fantastic beast 2 and it works. Dolby Vision logo on...

ok, i understood
ARC is limiting me to only non HD sounds
i will focus only to make DV with dts-hd (dts core in my case) or e-ac3/ac3 audio.

Your method works very well.
i already remade 2 dts-hd movies in 3 hours.

I made 2 "dual layer + trueHD pcm" movies (Ready Player One and Fantastic beast 2) and the method works perfectly. There is still a problem. The audio level is very very low when you play the movie on the tv. if you look at the iso tracks with BDinfo, you see that there is a DN -27 dB info...

I already checked the empty space on the drive.

DV.mp4 is 70 Go
lpcm.mov is 10 Go

This should produce a file of 80 Go and i have 160 Go free on the SSD drive.

dvhe.04.07 and dvhe.05.07 are the only "Device Capabilities" mentioned for chipset-based TVs This is right. But it simply means that a television needs to support dvhe.04.07 and dvhe.05.07 to be Dolby Vision certified. And nothing prevents a manufacturer to go further and allow his televi...

Why tv should only support single layer "Netflix DV" when they can decode dual layer DV ?
Where did you see that dvhe.07 should only be decoded by UHD BD players ??
