As my post above notes my first disc from Amazon gave errors and halted pre-maturely when backing up. Tried cleaning and a second drive. Replacement disc worked fine. Still can't decrypt yet but I'm sure database will update soon. I have had a couple bad discs over the years.

Not sure if this was mentioned or not but if I re-mux an MKV using MKVtoolnix will it retain the DV data from MakeMKV? Thanks.

As has been noted Plex on the 2019 Shield supports single layer DV in a TS container as well which does have native support for HD audio. Are there any known methods to create single layer DV TS files with HD audio?

I submitted dump about a week ago (purchased from Amazon in US) but still no go. Maybe Mike has been busy. Anydvd also doesn’t have the key for this disc.
