I had multiple failed attempts at making a backup.
Finally I was able to get it done by:
- Use backup functionality without decrypting
- Keep makemkv as foreground app whilst keeping my PC active by moving the app around every few minutes..
Perhaps this helps someone..

Re: Lord of the Rings + The Hobbit 4K (Finally!)
Yeah, the joys of ripping this set... I finally got all the extended ripped. I did a full disk backup for all of them just to be safe. One of the ROTK disks would not even be seen by the drive most times. A total power down and starting with the disk in the drive got it to load ONCE and I made a su...

MKV failing on a specific PC (that used to work)
Hi, I've got a very strange issue with my main PC. I've been using Makemkv on my main pc for quite a while without issues copying my 4K UHD disc collection from an external drive. Some months ago , makemkv started failing on all disk with a similar error and I have not been able to get it to fully c...

Audio track naming
Hi,
When using MakeMKV , audio tracks show up with the Surround 5.1 label in tools like VLC.
Is there a way to label them differently directly from within MakeMKV?
For example prefixing the codec , so DTS - Surround 5.1
Regards,
D.

add the .jpg attachments containing the covers automatically
Hi,
When using makemkv on a blu-ray I want to automatically select the attachments (jpg covers) into the mkv. Is there a flag/option for this?

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Guide Updated 2019
Hi, I used an external ICY BOX IB-550StU3S enclosure (https://www.raidsonic.de/en/standards/s ... jectID=456)
with my ASUS BW-16D1HT and was able to flash the firmware.
Since this enclosure can be found relatively easy in the EU, perhaps you can add it to your list.

Re: Custom firmware pack with LibreDrive patches
Hi,
Is there a reason to choose one type ( DM/MK) over the other? Drive is BW-16D1HT.
Thx,
D.
