I solved all my issues by buying "Easefab LosslessCopy". It does exactly what I want: ripping DVDs and Blurays without any problems. Easy to use, it works for me since a few days (very busy!) and I detected no errors up to now. Ripped about 30 Blurays since then.
30 bucks, and it works!

Makemkv works fine for me with all DVDs, but not with all Blurays: some (!) have no sound. During creation of the MKVs I don't get any error messages. By using MKVToolnix I can see that those MKVs without sound don't have an audio track at all, the others do. Therefore I think it cannot depend on th...
