Re: MakeMKV makes bad MKV files?
I tried to use MakeMKV 1.4.12 on the previous mentioned dvd, and now the mkv plays fine. So probably all I needed to do was upgrade to the latest version... Anyone else got similar experiences?

Re: MakeMKV makes bad MKV files?
When I used mkvmerge I just added the mkv file and had it create a new mkv file for me. I have done some more testing, and it seems that when I used MakeMKV on Ubuntu, things work better. And, when I come to think about it, I think I created the problem mkvs with MakeMKV 1.4.11. I will do some more ...

Re: MakeMKV makes bad MKV files?

I should probably tested more before I started my quest to convert my dvds. But I thought it was just the software playing MKV files that where buggy. And the files kind of works. Vlc is buggy I thought. Then I tried on mye WDTV Live box. The movie can't seem to change chapters without restarting t...

Development environment
Hi! I'm used to develop with Visual Studio, but I thought I should check out the source of MakeMKV. I'm using Ubuntu. What kind of development environment (editor) is recomended? I have tried Geany, but I think it is very hard to get an overlook of the hole gui project. In Visual Studio I got a solu...

Re: Command Line / Multi-File
Hi. When just writing makemkvcon64 I get the use of mkv: <source> <title id> <destination folder>. Then I use it like this to extract the first title, with id=0 (make sure the destination folder exists and no trailing slash): makemkvcon64 mkv iso:"D:\Movies\I_AM_LEGEND.ISO" 0 "D:\Movi...
