Re: LG BP50NB40
Well, if I didn't hold it down I would swear the burner would fly off the desk. I have to use another drive for DVDs cause literally, it spins so fast it moves the drive and sounds like a jackhammer.

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT fails after first title
Did you ever solve this problem? It sounds like a low power problem to the USB or possibly a usb 2.0 cable instead of 3.0 being used.

Conversion Profile AC3-Multichannel possible?
I'm trying to add multichannel (5.1) ac3 conversion to my MAKEMKV. I don't know much about the xml stuff but I have scanned over it a bit. My brain honestly can't handle it too well tbh, and I was hoping someone would just tell me how to add the option in my drop down menu in MAKEMKV. It's obviously...

Re: Audio issues/Playback buffering issues
Okay, I've been enjoying a standard blu-ray today and it's played flawless with ONE hiccup or two. And this is exactly what I was referring to. I think you guys hit the nail on the head. Because Jellyfin reports this to me: The source file is entirely compatible with this client, and the session is ...

Re: Audio issues/Playback buffering issues
Pretty sure just the UHD needing a wired connection, as I play a blu-ray today I'll let you know if that's the case. I have had this whole system wired before and experienced the SAME thing so I just gave up. That of course was before I knew I needed to transcode over to ac3 for my sound system thou...

Re: Audio issues/Playback buffering issues
I'm streaming for the most part wireless. I do not think that's the problem but I could totally be wrong. I was thinking it would be enough bandwidth for those files even though they are huge. IDK. I'll give it an investigation when I have some time tomorrow and see what I can find.

Audio issues/Playback buffering issues
Hey, and welcome. I am an avid fan of makemkv. But it seems all this time I've been using it I never really knew what I was doing. Basically ;) So here's what I'm trying to accomplish: I use MAKEMKV to rip UHD movies and a few misc other blurays/dvds into MKV files with all the tracks included (audi...

Re: ASUS BW-16D1HT what a rubbish drive
I just wanted to say for everyone choosing a drive. I can verify that this drive is faulty. It's not that it's "faulty," but there are many discs (music & videos) that it simply could not rip. I owned it for about 5 years or so occasionally running into disc read errors (since the day ...

Re: Inception
errors like that (from what I understand) are due to dirty disc or failing drive OR you bought Asus blu ray drive lololol In my case I bought the Asus blu ray drive and have had problems with several brand new discs. I just replaced the drive before I realized the problem WAS the drive with a new id...

Re: Allegiant
I bought the three movies together in one package off amazon. (Insurgent allegiant and divergent). I am no where near figuring out which one the correct title is... as mine is not numbered the same as this posts. For instance, my first selection looks like this Title information Name: Allegiant Sour...

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
I believe (looking at the audio and captions available) it's more than likely one o the 28 chapter ones. I'm looking at my disc and it only has two options, 41 chapters 23.3 gigs and 28 chapters 22.4 gigs. This eliminates it for me, but for you I'm still not sure about those two. This is the info fo...

Re: UHD Disks that Behave like They're Damaged
I’ve had the same problem with purchases from amazon. AND I’ve actually received new discs that were visibly filthy from amazon. If a disc fails to rip I exchange it at their cost. No questions asked.
