I've had some problems figuring out where to place keydb.cfg, and I'm still not sure it's doing it right.
I would love if MakeMKV on startup would just put a line in the status window along the lines of "Keydb.cfg found and loaded" or something to that effect...
Or is that just me?

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Thanks to everyone who provided new disc dump files. It is great to see folks remembering to include the correct disc ID.
The following disc variants have been added to the public keydb:
MKB_v82_28_Years_Later_B0CC
Okay, I'm lost...
I downloaded the new keydb.cfg (2026-01-16 19:08:37), but ...

Re: 28 Years Later - says v82 is to new?
MakeMKV should've made the dump the first time you tried to rip the disc. It'll be a .tgz file located in the 'data directory' that's configured for your MakeMKV (listed on the General tab in MakeMKV's preferences). It should've also mentioned it made the dump file and where it went in the log ...

Re: 28 Years Later - says v82 is to new?
Okay, I'm confused. It doesn't say it doesn't have the key - it says that the disc is using AACS v82, which is newer than AACS v82, which, I think we can agree, makes no sense. So is it still missing the key? I am already using keydb.cfg, and yes, I just updated it to 2026-01-10 17:38:01 to check ...

28 Years Later - says v82 is to new?
Been trying for about a month now to rip 28 Years Later. When inserting the disc in my Linux machine, MakeMKV reports

Who does the translations?
Who translates this program to other languages? I can't seem to find anywhere to sign up to help with translations, and there is a particular word in the Danish translation that really bothers me (in the preferences, "Video" is translated to "vedeo" - not only is it all lowercase, it is not even a ...

So I'm not the only one who thought of this...chioclik wrote: Thu Oct 24, 2019 8:39 am Would it be possible to read the SACD-Layer with LibreDrive?
It would indeed be awesome.

Ah, fair enough. I just expected the section to be there, even if it did say "LibreDrive incapable".

No LibreDrive information shown?
So, I just managed to dump the MK-firmware into my Asus-drive, thanks to the Win10PE-iso I found in another thread. So, to check my other drives!
Odly, my Win10 machine doesn't show the LibreDrive section at all! I updated MakeMKV to 1.15.1, but no difference - the section is just missing!?

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
I've got a bit of a problem with this. Sometimes it just refuses to start? I get a little window saying "Checking program demands" (may be something else in english) for a few seconds, and sometimes, the program then start. Mostly, though, nothing more happens! It doesn't start, and there is no ...
