Anyone have an answer for this? I havent noticed any difference in the versions, at a first glance they look identical...JellybeanCowboy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2019 7:29 pmJust started ripping CR using 0800 mpls. Does anyone know, for sure, which is the correct one (800 or 801) for this movie, or for all of them for that matter?
Thanks!

Re: Deepwater Horizon 4k UHD not ripping
I didn't have any problem ripping that disc multiple times. Almost seems like you managed to get two bad copies of the same disc but the odds of that I think are pretty high. I'm sure you've tried cleaning the disc and all that. I did a few different ways, just with a dry microfiber, then with a li...

Re: Deepwater Horizon 4k UHD not ripping
I tried this again in my LG drive (again), and it shows up in Windows Explorer, but MakeMKV just keeps spitting out the error code: DEBUG: Code 3221225664 at .b)!8erJ/6[gx3>l:121266649 repeated indefinitely... I should also note, after this error the drive no longer shows up in windows until I reboo...

Deepwater Horizon 4k UHD not ripping
Has anyone had issues getting the UHD disc for deepwater horizon to RIP? I have tried 2 different physical copies of the disc, I have tried both my LG WH16NS60 (firmware 1.01) & Asus BW-16D1HT (firmware 3.10), both Libre Drive enabled, and either/both have been able to RIP 105 other movies so fa...

Re: How to Train Your Dragon - The Hidden World
@SamuriHL Thanks for the reply, I have noticed that some discs have a film that is easily wiped clean, this particular disc did not have that. I wiped it anyway as you suggested, no change in results unfortunately. Not sure where to go from here, except maybe make a run to best buy or target and see...

Re: How to Train Your Dragon - The Hidden World
I got my copy from Amazon, it does not show any region code on the case or disc and i am unable to access the disc at all in MakeMKV. I have an ASUS BW-16D1HT With Firmeware ver 3.10 patched with libre drive, and i have successfully used this drive with 26+ other movies so far without issue. I hear ...

Re: Night At The Museum Closed Captions Issue
I'm a little bit confused. There is no tool and no way available to do this without "transcoding" (same as re-encoding) or re-encoding to "burn-in" subtitles. So, in Adobe photoshop, i can place another image (or text) on top of the image in a new "layer", without touc...

Re: Night At The Museum Closed Captions Issue
Grauhaar, Thanks for your reply... In an ideal world I would like to keep the original file quality and file size. I have plenty of storage space, so this is not an issue for me, i value the quality over the quantity of my movie collection. I have recently been made aware that Plex MUST transcode ev...

Re: Night At The Museum Closed Captions Issue
On a somewhat related topic, is it possible to "burn" a subtitle track into the video stream without compressing the video stream? Is handbrake capable of this, or is there another software package that can do it (MKVToolNix maybe)? I would appreciate any help on this also, as I am very he...

Re: Subtitle process (MakeMKV and Handbrake for Blu-ray)
I have been using this online database as a reference for movies that have forced subtitles, and has been EXTREMELY useful for me... granted I watch the physical disc copy before I rip it anyway to confirm if there are any additional subs that aren't listed, but that's my OCD for ya! lol https://doc...

Re: Night At The Museum Closed Captions Issue
Woodstock, Thanks for that info, is there a way to remove those cc tracks from the mkv without running through handbrake? This is the only movie this has happened to me with, other movies do not have these tracks poping up and I want to remove them without compressing the video file. I have a massiv...

Night At The Museum Closed Captions Issue
I have seen several posts about Night at the Museum 3 issues, but none related to the problem I am having. For some reason, when I rip Night at the Museum BD with NO subtitles selected I end up with 2 Closed Captions tracks in VLC. I confirmed these do in deed exist, and are a huge pain! I only rip ...
