i would love an option within makemkv where we could read the errored sectors from a secondary medium, say i have 2 identical dvds / brs / 4k etc, but they have both been damaged in seperate ways, neither will rip on its own, however, the read errors occur on a different sector so if i can somehow ...

I've been trying other ways to get this to rip. I've tried following the instructions on this post https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=32784
which gets me the keydb.cfg in the .makemkv folder.

I have this same issue.
For DVDs is scans them (skips shorters than x seconds) then freezes for a bit. It then goes to the next title screen which lists the titles correctly, but also immediately pops up that a fatal error has occurred and it will close. I can't get out of that popup without the ...
