Re: 1 MKV File vs Many Files?
Ok great! After I use MakeMKV to “rip” my disc and get 42 individual mkv files what do I do?

Re: 1 MKV File vs Many Files?
Thank you very much for the reply! I am aware of these two other options already. Does that mean there is no way to do what I want? I literally just want one MKV file. Thank you.

1 MKV File vs Many Files?
So, I made a family BD in Roxio Toast with many kid performances over the years, and besides burning several physical discs, I'd also like to convert that disc (menu and all) to an MKV file. The problem is, than instead of getting one MKV file, each performance is saved as an individual MKV file. Is...

Re: PLEASE create MKV to Blu-ray App
Wow, that's extremely helpful. I think I just might have eventually come up with that myself. In fact, I believe I have, but as you might expect, doing that gave me a lot of useless junk including the typical Chinese apps that are all the same software, but under 10 different names. It was my hope t...

Re: PLEASE create MKV to Blu-ray App
Do you have any suggestions (preferably on a Mac) as to any great "Blu-ray Disk Authoring" apps?
Why do Blu-ray? Lots of reasons, but the most important being personal preference.
Thanks

PLEASE create MKV to Blu-ray App
Please consider creating an app that allows you to convert MKV to Blu-ray. tsMuxer is so extremely old and the Mac version fails every time. Running tsMuxer for Windows often doesn't work either, and multiavchd never works for me. They have both been abandoned and yet many people still use these app...

Re: Back Up A DVD?
Thank you! Any suggestion on a Mac app that would allow me to mux a subtitles file into a format that could be burned back to DVD with soft subs and no loss in quality? I have Toast for the burning, would tsMuxeR do the trick? It works for Blu-rays.

Back Up A DVD?
I'm guessing the you can only "Back Up" a Blu-ray, and not a DVD. Is this correct?
I'm not talking about creating a .mkv file, I'm talking about using the "back Up" button.
Thanks, Jim

Re: How Do I Add Subtitles to a mkv and then Burn to BD?
Thank you, but I was kinda hoping you could perhaps make a suggestion on what software to use. I have Toast, but it doesn't allow subtitles to be added even though it encodes and burns BD. I also have : iSubtitle Submerge Subtitle Studio Video Ambush Road Movie Subtitles theEditor and Jubler, but no...

How Do I Add Subtitles to a mkv and then Burn to BD?
Ok, I can create an mkv file or a back up file of a BD easily with MakeMKV. I can then play it back in VLC and add a subtitle (.srt) that I downloaded with ease. So, how do I add that subtitle file to the MKV file or back up folder and then burn it all back to a BD disc? I'd like the subs to be soft...

question about AACS directory
There is a place in the preferences/settings for an AACS folder to be defined. I created one in the same location as my SVQ folder. Now, what file am I to place in it? I placed the allcombo.svq file in it's correct directory, but I can't find a download link for what goes in the AACS folder. Any ass...
