One of the first things I try. I usually use eye glass wipes, will try some other ways I found on google.

Has anyone been able to copy this title. Disc is from Target. After what seems like ‘chewing’ the disc sometime loads but for the most part fails. If it does load it fails on what would appear to be the 2nd layer. Using both lg16ns40 flashed to both 1.00 and 1.02. Also tried BU40NS flashed to 1.00 P...

I also have a license for another ripper, if MakeMKV doesn’t work I use the other one. I never had a disc that wouldn’t rip using either. Please support Mike if you haven’t.

The Directors cut rips fine

My copy backed up with no problems using BU40N V1.0 FW

Dvdfab has a player for Mac OS, cost varies on how long you want the license to last. I use the Windows version though. It has a trial period.

Have you tried to rip title #1 800.mpls?

Sometimes the disc is just bad. Have you tried changing the FW on your drive, I’ve had problems like this and changing it sometimes helped.
Sometimes multiple cleanings may help. Also have your tried a different ripping program. If you regularly use MKV, please buy a license if you haven’t already.

What is the correct mpls for both of the 4K titles?

Isn't the bu40n a slim drive? If so, please don't do that. I'm not positive but I believe flashing desktop dive firmware to a slim drive can brick it. That would be very unfortunate. Some of the other guys will hopefully chime in that know more than I do on this subject but please don't do this unt...
