Re: 3D MVC Option
Hi to All, I have open a ticket in Cyberlink to inform that Powerdvd 12 does not read the MKV 3D created with MakeMKV in 3D mode. Cyberlink has inserted in the issue list the reference to this bug. I hope that they will solve quickly the issue. here below the link: http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/...

Re: 3D MVC Option
hi there, I just bought an A-400 popcorn device (which is MVC 3D capable), and I tryed to read a 3D mkv (avengers) that I made with "makemkv" . the result is that I have the dts-hd audio track working correctly, but no image!(black screen), and after 1 minute the device crash. what do you...

Re: "Cinavia" watermark protection
The PS3 doesn't support MKV, so, that part's irrelevant. The structure that DVDFab outputs can be written to disc (and is made for doing so), but, it doesn't actually REMOVE the Cinavia. It, instead, makes the media a "TRUSTED_SOURCE" by adding AACS encryption to it. The Cinavia detection...

Re: "Cinavia" watermark protection
@dbone1026 Hi! You say: DVDFab already has a workaround for Cinavia on the PS3 (although you must keep as a folder rip) What do you mean by "you must keep as a folder rip"? Please clarify. From the DVDFab forum: Technical details: the discs created are called BDMV-REC as they are AACS pro...

Re: "Cinavia" watermark protection
It will definitely be interesting to see where Cinavia goes, I actually just finished writing an article regarding: http://www.mediasmartserver.net/2011/02/01/cinavia-what-is-it-and-why-you-should-care/ The one thing that is still not clear, is there a possibility that Cinavia would be implemented o...

Re: Forced Subtitles
Couple of questions: - I think the answer is yes, but when MakeMKV grabs the subtitles if there is a forced track it creates a separate subtitle track for this, correct (i.e. so lets say you have one PGS track that has embedded subtitles, after MakeMKV does its thing you will now have two subtitle t...

Re: Forced Subtitles
I'm having the same problem with Angels & Demons, however MakeMKV shows "Forced Subs", but when i run it through HandBrake i get nothing. Anyone found a solution? If this a SD DVD or Blu Ray? If Blu Ray possibly Handbrake does not support PGS subtitles (in which case you can use BDSup...

Re: Bitstream HD Audio to Asus HDAV slim??
Have you tried the latest FFDShow + MPC HC? I have no issues bitstreaming DTS(MA) and TrueHD using a 5670 GPU or a core i5 system. I don't know if the same applies for your card but hopefully it should. Here is my guide on how to do: http://www.mediasmartserver.net/2010/02/02/guide-setting-up-bitstr...

Re: Subtitles - List Out Track #?
What am I reading for? To see that what you were suggesting already appears in an earlier post by the "Admin"... Thanks, I followed that. I know some people were just ripping Blu Rays with the forced subs with MakeMKV but having problems with the subs being read, not realizing that an add...

Re: Subtitles - List Out Track #?
@dbone1026 Please click on the following link and read the thread: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=808 What am I reading for? Basically I was hoping to just use MakeMKV, get the forced subs in, and call it a day. I am already doing the BDSup2Sub/MKVMerge thing to get idx/sub s...

Re: Subtitles - List Out Track #?
Also make sure you research what subtitle formats are compatible with what players/software. For instance, for Blu Rays MakeMKV creates pgs subtitles which right now aren't being picked up by MPC HC, whereas the IDX/Sub subtitles I was using before were picked up. I might just have to do a little mo...

Subtitles - List Out Track #?
I just tested out MakeMKV on District 9 and it correctly shows forced subs which is great. Is there any way that MakeMKV can list out for each audio or subtitle track the Track #? Currently MakeMKV does not do this so it is very difficult to determine which are the correct forced subs to grab. For e...

Re: Forced Subtitles
Surely if the language is different, as in films like Apocalypto or District 9, the text should be burnt into the video, as no one would want to not see it. I've just ripped Fast and Furious (2008) Bluray using 1.4.10 and the spanish guys foreign language is subtitled, so why would it be different ...
