Ribshark seems to be something regarding CD Audio ripping. CD audio ripping is outdated. If you still want to do so use EAC.

When reading firmware from a LG WH16NS60 v1.00 I get a .bin file but when reading the firmware from my second WH16NS60 v1.03 I get a .tar file.
