Re: Start updating the firmware from scratch. Requesting assistance. Thank you.

The drives shown can't be flashed for UHD. Forget it. OK, Coopervid. Thank you very much. I'm just a bit interested in these technologies. Maybe I can get ready for them and make more people aware of our community. I would like to know which models can be technologically enhanced to achieve 4K ultr...

we already knew what drive was in it
you recover it the same way in or out of the case
you will have to use cli and add nocheck to the command to ignore the tray being opened
Why don't you write a cli cookbook for him?

Re: Buffalo Media Drive

Your second, lower box is wrong. You NEED to choose a full size drive firmware like LG WH16NS60 1.02 firmware. Putting BU40 firmware in the second box won't help. Besides that the flasher seems to think that a disc is in your drive. So fix your first issue and try again. And you need to check RECOVE...

Show us a picture of Marty's flasher to see what's in the 2 boxes before you hit START.

If I open MakeMKV and then connect the drive, I am able to open the .IFO file manually and rip the streams. However, I'm trying to make a backup of the disc (ISO), and I can't do that in manual mode. Thanks.
Rip it and use Imgburn to create the ISO.
