You probably have to wait very long until Mike will add support for this 1.01 firmware. And no- Windows is not different from Linux. Just go ahead and flash the firmware I have sent and you will have Libredrive in Linux and Windows. And your drive will be UHD capable.

You don't understand the subject for the X13. The tgz file is supposed to be send to support@makemkv.com so Mike can enable Libredrive support for this.
