Re: 4K/UHD Verbatim slim-line USB with Pioneer UD03 and UD04 drives for sale, new & tested!
Please let me make some comments here. I've been in contact with heisenberg and his offers here are solid and no scam in any way. If you are interested in a Verbatim drive with a Pioneer inside this is a chance you might not have again anytime in the future. Unfortunately the forum has again been ve...

Re: Verbatim 43890 - Pioneer BDR-UD03
These guys post links on where to download them after you pay them!, I do it for free! To be honest I don't trust you. What I have seen in your first link seemed to be a cracked version of Billy's autoflasher. And who knows what kind of bad stuff might have been added to it. Virus, Trojan.... I pro...

Well. Linux guys seem to be masochistic. You need to flash to an UHD firmware. Described here. Install a VM and do so.

Re: Hit a wall with Slimline Flasher. OmniDrive bundle?
Okay, again: "If your external Buffalo / Archgon / LG BU40N has encrypted firmware, flash BU40N 1.03-MK first, then you can either leave it as is or flash BU40N 1.00 or Buffalo BU / BN firmware if you want to." I don't see the BU40N 1.03-MK in the all you need firmware pack, only the stoc...

Re: Hit a wall with Slimline Flasher. OmniDrive bundle?
I'm re-reading that thread, and in the "The all you need firmware pack," I only see the stock firmware I already had for LG slim BU40N, not the patched BU40N 1.03 MK that I thought I need in order to bypass the lock for downgrade protection/encrypted firmware/anti-rollback checks. Read ag...

Re: Hitachi-LG USB Blu-ray Drive BP55EB40 SVC EB52
I've my first EB52 for flashing here. I thought I do some experimental with it. Just flashed to LG BU40N 1.03MK like the EB40.....and 4K ripping is fine. Why is the the second step to 1.00 necessary with the EB52? It's not for Makemkv / AnyDVD / XReveal. Only if you want to use DVDFab / Passkey. Ye...

Re: Pioneer BDr-XD08U Slow
Have this drive with FW 1.04. Bought it maybe 2-3 months ago. Over time I have noticed it has become incredibly slow to rip UHDs (it was a champ prior to this!). For example on my Seinfeld UHDs it can take hours to rip one disc. These are triple layer discs - at least the bath I am on now, so maybe...

Re: Hit a wall with Slimline Flasher. OmniDrive bundle?
You can flash it. Read the UHD guide. If on Linux / Mac you must use enc in your command line.Fastnbulbous1969 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 24, 2026 4:25 pmI can't edit my response as it's not showing up yet, but it's only connection is USB-C.
