Re: Recommendation for best (most reliable and versatile) LibreDrive for 2024?
I'm also interested in a UHD Libre drive (my Slime drive broke down). I live in Germany I would also like a 5,25" Drive (and maybe robust slime drive) recommendation. I'm very interested in Speed (even if it costs more) Thanks in advance Check PM. Hi, sorry ich hatte noch eine Frage bevor ich ...

Re: Recommendation for best (most reliable and versatile) LibreDrive for 2024?
Too many idiots in this forum. I have 15 unread PMs with instructions that were never read and all of those people were begging like little kids. I need to see that there is proof of interest.

Re: Ripping 4K UHD with ASUS BW-16D1H-U Pro
Try this and follow the video with recovery: https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=22896&hilit=SDFToolFlasher Pick the firmware that you flashed. Then pick any ASUS / LG firmware for 5,25" drives. WH16NS60 1.02 is recommended. You got a penalty for NOT READING. DON'T EVER...

How stupid! You should have waited for advice. Maybe the recover option helps but it's complicated and you nedd to follow exactly the steps.

Re: Ripping 4K UHD Disks
4K discs need Internet access enabled for Makemkv. Either you have it not enabled in the settings or something blocks Makemkv to access the Internet.

Re: Which Libredrive ( UHD )?
I only use Linux and don't want to buy a Windows PC just to flash a UHD burner. I am looking for a drive that is already flashed and working. Translated with DeepL.com (free version) So if you don't have access to a Windows PC (laptop of friend etc.) then contact asmcom. https://forum.makemkv.com/f...

Re: Pioneer BDR-UD03 UHD possibility
I'm all fired up. People asking for help and then they don't read their PM at all. So I don't respond anymore until people have their permission to post PMs and ask me by PM. Say thank you to all the idiots who don't check PMs and the other idiots who even don't leave a thank you.

Re: Which Libredrive ( UHD )?
Hello! I would like to back up my UHD's ( under Linux ) and am looking for a Libredrive for this. Re: WH16NS46 vs WH16NS40
Just flash BH16NS60 1.02. NS46 is a firmware tailored from Produplicator but all 5,25" drives with MT1959 are compatible for crossflash.

Re: SDFtool Flasher error
Thanks for the quick replies. 1) "The serial number says this drive was from 2018... Perhaps prior to encryption... Does it work if you UNcheck enc?" Actually, the label on the bottom says "Manufactured: February 2024" Also - how did you get the serial number from the info I pro...
