Thanks both  , I really appreciate it. I will try the tsMuxer fork, might be the right tool.
Just a follow-up, with the layer-break guard handling the defect zone, do you think the LG-based firmware I've got (WH16NS60 1.02-MK / BU40N 1.03-MK / BW-16D1HT 3.10-MK) would be fine for DL burning ...

Hey everyone,
I split my time between two countries, so I've ended up with a small fleet of drives rather than one setup I carry around. Mostly I'm ripping regular Blu-ray, with UHD less often, and I also burn BD-R/BD-R DL discs from the ripped files so my kids can grab a physical movie off the ...

Well I got a few of these fullsize 5,25. On official firmware they can`t do 4k.
Can you really just flash them to enable that mode?

Re: IN STOCK! (Worldwide) BRAND NEW Pioneer BDR-S09XLT, BDR-S08XLT, BDR-209DBK Drives - 4K/UHD - Flashed & Tested
I used a sata to usb adapter with an incorporated power supply, like so: https://www.amazon.com.mx/sata-a-usb/s?k=sata+a+usb
This one is recommended. Most others don't allow flashing and are also only supposed to work with HDD. This one supports optical drives 100%.

I received my drive a couple of days ago, it's legit and comes preflashed as the seller claims since makemkv reports libredrive is enable. When it comes to actually ripping I had issues, I hope they're just because I tested using a sata to usb adapter since my 5.5" slot in my computer already ...

Re: Issues Burning 100GB Ultra HD Blu-rays on Verbatim 43888
Hi everyone,
I'm seeking advice regarding an issue with my Verbatim 4K Blu-ray drive, model 43888. I recently updated the firmware to version BU40N 1.03MK, which installed successfully.
While standard Blu-rays and 3D Blu-rays burn and play back perfectly, I am encountering problems with 100GB ...
