Re: AACS 2.1 support
@Mike, great success to beat AACS2.1!!!!! But also like TerryRaspin I think that unfortunately the task is on your side. Putting in these zero sectors make the M2TS files incompatible with all software that's out there. Padding is needed instead. Hope you understand and hope you will refine Makemkv ...

Re: Spider-man Far From Home and ASUS BW-16D1HT
I would rather try a cleaning CD-ROM with small brushes first before I try these options. Far less work and much more convenient. CD-ROM for the following reason: All lasers / lenses are co-positioned -reads are very close to each other. The least critical discs are CD-ROMs because of much larger st...

Re: Assist Flashing LG BP50NB40
Is this an internal drive or is it attached via USB in an enclosure? If attached via USB then that is the reason. Some enclosures don't support all necessary commands that are needed for flashing.

Re: My head hurts from this...
The Issue is most likely the connection via USB. Not all interfaces support all necessary commands to flash your drive. You should connect it directly to your computer via SATA if you have the possibility. Then you can put it back to the USB connection.

No. NS60 will not work with AnyDVD. If - then flash it to NS55 1.02. All higher versions of NS55 will also not work with AnyDVD.

Re: Manufacturing Defects as Protection?
I just did some testing flashing firmwares and needed to try therefore an original disc. I picked one that I only played once half a year ago and the disc looked prestine. Well, the drive complained about missing bus encryption and the disc could only be read after cleaning with soap and water. Sinc...

Sounds like a player in software is needed that operates in a sandbox to not be tracked. Or am I totally wrong?

Re: No disc - LG BD-RE BH16NS55
Your drive has a total of 3 lasers for the various kinds of discs (CD, DVD and BD) that are co-positioned - so very close next to each other. The most sensitive for all kinds of pollution is the BD, the least sensitive is the CD. It's very likely that the BD laser is defective or that the diode is p...

A minor but important suggestion. The flasher tool is not included anymore. Please include either the LG or ASUS flasher in the top folder.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Re: Manufacturing Defects as Protection?
As woodstock outlined: Even if an UHD disc seems to be prestine - there might be some substances on the surface that prevents or makes it difficult reading the disc. In such cases i wash the disc with liquid soap and hot water. If afterwards reading is still difficult (data rates are slow) I add an ...
