On a whim I popped in a disc today and bam, it opened it in LibreDrive mode and just worked! I was asking about this drive about a month ago and it was indicated that as a hp variant it may not work correctly but here we are and it is now working perfectly.

Yea you need the online update checkbox to be checked.


It is on and I have seen it download the update previously. I turned on debug mode, which does give me a few codes but none that match the post by Billycar11.
