The problem is solved after a BIOS update of the motherboard. Now I can rip UHDS in about 50 minutes and Blue Rays in about 30 min. without getting any error and I am happy. No USB Enclosure the drive is attached directly to SATA Connector on my motherboard.

Yes I have 2 physical CPUs each 18 cores. But MakeMkv can read from my UHD friendly Asus BW-16D 1H 3.01 only at a very slow speed. As already mentioned it takes 12 hours min. to rip a 50 GB from the UHD. Even much longer to rip 70 GB. Copying to content of the UHD to the harddrive is much faster. Wh...

Ripping speed
It takes me about 12 hours to rip any UHD disc in my Asus BW-16D 1HT 3.01.
Is this the normal ripping time ?
Or is there anything which could be done to speed up ?
