Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
No you don't. The very first thing that happens when you run the executable is it downloads and extracts findvuk to a subfolder where the executable is. Ah, I was just running the executable without unzipping it, which may have been the problem. Moot point now, since all three discs are available i...

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Just kill it and try it again and it should work now that the drive's been added. If by this you mean close the Helper program, reopen the Helper program, and click on Disc Info, no, it still gets stuck at the same point. Then you may need to run FindVUK ValidateDisc in the FindVUK sub-folder where...

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
The relevant functionality was mentioned under the 'Disc Info' heading: ... * Disc Info - Shows you the information for your disc including the disc ID. If your KeyDB.cfg file contains device keys and/or processing keys, it COULD, in theory, maybe use those to ADD entries to the KeyDB. You know, fo...

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
That is an interesting way to say 'thank you' to the folks voluntarily contributing to the public keydb and assisting MakeMKV users... Particularly when the keydb contributors are entirely distinct from the MakeMKV development team. That comment was in response to the notion that it would apparentl...

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Please read the first post in this thread for some resources/links you might find helpful when configuring MakeMKV to utilise the public keydb. Yeah, already had that set up, checked first to see if it was in there already. The change in AACS 1.0 (1080p Blu-ray) support has been due to the latest u...

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
According to a thread in the Blu-ray section, some Pioneer drives are supported but others aren't?
I used to be able to rip anything I bought, but recently I've had to wait for discs to be added almost every time. What's going on?

LIBMKV_TRACE: Exception
LIBMKV_TRACE: Exception: MKV_ASSERT: TimecodeDelay >= int16(0x8000) && TimecodeDelay <= int16(0x7FFF)
Got this on one title of a DVD I'm trying to rip. No idea what it means?

The Third Man
No sign of it either in MakeMKV directly or in the public key DB as far as I can tell.

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Downloaded that one, clicked on Disc Info, it ran some things and is now stuck on “Starting FindVUK validate disc!” All the buttons are greyed out and there's no indication of any sort of progress being made.

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
I tried to run KeyDB_Tools, but when I start the program it throws an unhandled exception error, saying it "could not find part of the path" and then listing a path to keydb.cfg in my AppData/Roaming directory.

Re: Flicker Alley BEHIND THE DOOR/BELOW THE SURFACE Fake Playlists
Is it possible to do the playlist obfuscation thing without Java? Is there a way for me to determine whether it's Java or HDMV? I'm not sure. I suppose if you make a decrypted backup of the disc and look in the BDMV folder you'll find a JAR directory. If JAR is empty, then the disc likely does NOT ...

Re: Flicker Alley BEHIND THE DOOR/BELOW THE SURFACE Fake Playlists
If you have Java setup correctly it would run if Java is used for menus. But the disc might not use Java, I don't know. I don't have that disc so I can only speculate.
