Must've been a a prior rip from another test and I just didn't notice it there.
Cleaned the output directory and ran mkv again on the same title. Only an mkv created thankfully. Thanks folks.

Re: Are there separate settings for the mkv and mp4 output?
Well this is interesting. I chose a DVD to make an mkv of, set the destination filepath and watched the program generate an mkv AND and an MP4 in the same destination directory. I then tried a UHD disc and it generated an mkv only as expected.

Are there separate settings for the mkv and mp4 output?
Evaluating Makemkv and really liking what i see so far. Just did a test main title rip of a DVD and I notice that the program produces an mkv file and an mp4 file. I checked both in VLC and they both play perfectly. The mp4 is about a quarter the size of the mkv though and when I look at fine detail...

Re: The Last Jedi DV UHD. Main movie files.
Figured it out. 0007.m2ts is the opening and 00012.m2ts is the rest of the film. Now I just need to find an m2ts tool to allow me to remove the unwanted tracks from the m2ts files. TSmuxer would normally be my choice for this task but it doesn't handle DV encoded m2ts files properly.

The Last Jedi DV UHD. Main movie files.
Anyone figured out which files comprise the entirety of the movie itself? The largest m2ts file in the STREAM directory appears to be the majority of the movie but it's missing the opening Lucasfilm logo, the main title sequence text scroll and the end logo after the movie.

Re: last jedi
If you want only the main feature, Open the backup folder in MakeMKV and save the main feature as an MKV file. It will assemble the pieces. DV as MKV does not work on my 203 but I suppose if that generates a file with the appropriate components I can query that to see what the main title is compose...

Re: last jedi
Did a full folder transfer of a The Last Jedi UHD last night and it plays perfectly on my Oppo 203. Has anyone determined the filelist for main title only for this movie? I know I can't have DV titles in MKV and an m2ts file containing just the primary stream, the DV stream and the True HD audio als...

Re: Firmware downgrade using official (patched) flasher, the "Ultra hax0r guide"
@MaDMaX @Captain Ron, As @SamuriHL said, I have patched the official ASUS 3.02 Updater (see last post of page 1) so that is all that you need to downgrade a BW-16D1HT from 3.03 to 3.02, even via USB. This makes it a hell of a lot easier!!! All I can say is "WOW". Worked a treat. Very impr...

Re: Firmware downgrade using official (patched) flasher, the "Ultra hax0r guide"
Hello good people of this forum. I have been reading all the detail on the 36 page long post here on downgrading the firmware on an Asus friendly drive I purchased and the numerous steps involved and then stumbled upon this thread upon registering for the forum. Is this patched updater what I am loo...
