Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
I will need proof to send them what can I use as I cant find any information even from Pioneer about the particular drive I have. It is like it never existed! This drive is an OEM model intended for Japanese Toshiba laptops with UHD support, of course you won't find any information about it, since ...

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
It appears that all newly-released Pioneer firmwares containing the updated kernel in the package have the downgrade protection now. We are investigating the situation. Please don't update the drive firmware unless you really need it for some purpose!

BDR-XD08 https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Computer/Computer+Drives/BDR-XD08B None of the device IDs match the one you mentioned. Debug and sdftool output are a couple posts up. Thanks, I already have the dump from this version (GENERAL kernel type). Wait for Mike to add its support to LibreD...

Which exact model do you have? Right now I need a dump from BDR-XD08BK/SV/GL, marketed for Japan.Drudenhaus wrote: ↑Mon Oct 17, 2022 5:01 amCould you shoot me the info on how to take and submit a memory dump from my BDR-XD08 as well?

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Hello! I use LibreDrive and MKV with my Hitachi-LG BH16NS55 on my desktop PC and it works like a charm (thank you!). I've noticed only now that also the BD drive on my old laptop could have LibreDrive as well. How can I make it work? (I know that this drive will never be able to read UHD Blu-Ray) I...

Re: Slimline/Slotin drive for UHD
However the Pioneer BDR-XS07UHD is an external slot load. Does anyone know if the drive inside is SATA and could be mounted in a laptop? The drive inside has a USB connector soldered directly on the drive's PCB. It cannot be installed in the laptop, however, it can be installed in most SFF PC cases...

A letter "T" in XD07TUHD, XS07TUHD, XD07TB, XD07TS, XS07TS means "Taiwan". These are models marketed for Taiwan primarily, and they are also sold in Europe and Australia. Their American counterparts are XD07UHD, XS07UHD, XD07B, XD07S, XS07S respectively. There are also XD07CB, XD...

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Does anyone here already have a portable BDR-XD08MB-S , BDR-XD08BK/SV/GL, BDR-AD08BK/SV/GL or BDR-XD08LE drive? They are sold only in Japan and I'm unable to get my hands on them personally. I need memory dumps from them very badly. Also, the BDR-S13JBK (not the J-X version), BDR-213JBK and BDR-X13J...

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
I would be willing to try if we can find one email me a link if you know of one. Well, if you really want to try, I can provide you such a tool right now. The crossflash on BDR-207 and newer drives was not yet tested (well, technically, it was, but only with a BDR-207 -> BDR-PR1M crossflash, which ...

Re: CFW for ASUS SBW-06D5H-U ?
@Walker, hello! May I ask you to make a virtual memory dump from your drive? I'm working on a flashing tool for Pioneer drives, which is the true manufacturer of your ASUS. In theory it's possible to flash this drive with a BDR-UD03 or BDR-UD04 firmware, since they have identical hardware. But first...
